For years, we have been recommending restaurants, inns and taverns where you can dine especially well to sailors who appreciate good food. You will recognize them because their owners proudly display the Gustozi Đir (Gourmet Tour) sticker at the entrance. The best among them have been awarded stickers every year. Others have joined us in the meantime, while others we used to recommend have been dropped.
Our intention has been to guide you to places offering delicious cuisine in order to share with you the pleasure of dining by the sea. On the Gourmet Tour, which has always had strict criteria, are restaurants and taverns where dishes are prepared by our favorite chefs, some of whom have also earned the title of super chef. Our current selection is the result of twenty-nine years of systematically evaluating seaside restaurants on the pages of More, the leading Croatian nautical magazine, whose editors have prepared this brochure. Together with the list of restaurants that we recommend to you every year, we shall introduce you to on of our super chefs. This year, it is Ante Toni Bjelančić, the owner and cook of the restaurant Gastro Mare located in the cove of Kobaš in Ston bay.
