Luxury event in Maslinica

  • August 26, 2022

Martinis Marchi is a well-known luxury marina and a hotel-castle in Maslinica on Šolta where superb summer theme parties are organized every year

Maslinica, a village on the island of Šolta is a well-known nautical destination. The Martinis Marchi marina is a part of the resort within which there is a luxury heritage hotel and an exclusive restaurant.  The luxury marina that is nestled in the southern part of the small harbor has been organizing the events dedicated to art, wine and sailing for years and the most memorable event every year is a Martinis Marchi Summer Party that resembles a small festival due to the variety of activities.

On the southern part of the waterfront they built a small amphitheater where the guests and the tourists are entertained by various performers, musicians or other entertainers. It is also a venue where theatre plays or klapa singingis organized and is open for everyone. The party was held in early August and this year’s theme was La Dolce Vita. The themes in the previous years were Under The Moonlight, Simply White, Disco 70s, Life Is A Cabaret, Ancient Rome, Brazilian Night and Venetian Night.

La Dolce Vita is a unique combination of pleasure and discreet luxury that blended easily into the magical background of the luxury castle, the Martinis Marchi marina, the restaurant and the park above the waterfront. The evening was all about entertainment, music, delicacies, art and fashion. The guests could feel the unforgettable charm of Maslinica and enjoy the spectacle that was planned down to the tiniest detail. The event was partly held on the common ground and it was open and welcoming to the public. Invited guests, the owners of Sunseeker yachts and other luxury yachts that were in the marina that evening, enjoyed the night in the VIP environment.

The organizers of the event are proud that their heritage hotel-castle is a preferred destination for many renowned people and celebrities from business, sports or entertainment, but also to the residents of the island. This year again, a lot of people attended the event. Throughout the weekend mornings the guests could test the attractive sea toys provided by FLITE Company, enjoy silent, panoramic tours in luxury cars while the afternoons were reserved for art exhibitions, art workshops or tasting the Mumm Champagne.

Many invited guests attended the event over the past years and there were some guests who have not missed any of the theme parties in the past 11 years. This unique event is an example of how to organize a luxury party that we lack so much on the Croatian side of the Adriatic. In the charming ambience, one of the most photographed items was an old Vespa, the unofficial symbol of La Dolce Vita generation from the 1960’s.

The guests enjoyed the launch of the IKona collaboration collection by Kristina Burja, the designer, Iva Gradišer, the stylist and Marijana Batinić, the TV presenter. The timeless collection was presented via living dolls in a fairy tale scenery of well-designed garden around the castle. The evening continued in the 1960’s music mood, the invitees were drinking fine wines from the Litterarii Winery. The lavish buffet was served and the invitees were entertained by the German pop star, Marc Terenzi.
