The Raška bay boasts a renovated small port. After the accident of Fidelity, the ship under the Lebanese flag that caused pollution of the sea in 2018, it had to be removed due to oil spill cleanup. The boats were relocated plus there was a need for additional berths. The work cost 10,5 milion HRK and the funds were provided by the Ministry of the Sea and the Istria County. The small port now has 295 berths. Along with the main pontoon, the additional fully equipped piers have been installed and the total area of sea is 21 thousand square meters.

Next year, the Port authority of Rabac starts with the construction of an anchorage and they have also started collecting the paperwork for the renovation of the port in Sveta Marina.

At the opening ceremony, Tulio Demetlikak, the Deputy Prefect of Istria County, announced new projects such as the breakwater in Rabac and a marina in the district of Marčana, in the quarry which he called an eyesore. Demetlika hopes that the Ministry will support the projects and pointed out that the port of Bršica is expected to gain importance especially „due to the railway upgrade plan in Istria“, for which the substantial funds have been set aside.
