Biograd is hosting the boat show this week, one of the rare ones to be held in this year of pandemics
The Biograd Boat Show starts Wednesday, October 21st and lasts until Sunday, October 25th. The number of exhibitors is reduced compared to the last year, which is expected, considering the circumstances. The sailing season ended better than expected at the beginning of the pandemic and this autumn show is the annual recapitulation of the last and the beginning of the new sailing season.
BBS has been recognized as one of the biggest mid-European boat shows, but this year it can also be described as one of the biggest in general. The only show that preceeded the BBS was Salone nautico di Genova.
BBS is held in Marina Kornati in Biograd that has 4 our of 5 anchors and is spacious enough to avoid any difficulties and crowd during the show. Ilirija d.d. and the Biograd Boat Show are the platinum members of the International Federation of Boat Shows Organizers (IFBSO).
This year, there are 240 exhibitors and a little less boats compared to the previous year. As a part of the manifestation, there is a very important B2B event for charter industry as well as annual meetings of various marine associations.
For all the visitors who might be requiring COVID-19 testing, the organizer has provided a test site in the lobby of the Adriatic Hotel in Biograd, on Friday, October 23rd between 11 a m and 2 p m and on Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th from noon to 3 p m)
The daily ticket costs 40 kuna. The pets are also allowed. The exhibit area is open every day during the Show from 10 a m to 18 p m.
