This mooring has always been popular, always en route and always providing a convenient repose or overnight stay. It is a waterway between the islands of St. Peter and somewhat bigger Ilovik. Along either coast there are many mooring buoys, but if none is free, make sure not to drop anchor too far away and get in the way of other boats passing through. The Passage provides good shelter against all winds save for tramontana (a northerly) and summer storms coming from the west. In bora moor in the lee of St. Peter. There is a cute little place on Ilovik which has not been corrupted by recent architecture. As many as five restaurants are open in the summer, which clearly shows how popular this place is.
