⦁ Covid-19 in Croatia under control
⦁ Marinas and charter companies are getting ready for the begining of nautical season
⦁ Borders are open for boat and house owners
⦁ Sailing is allowed again

Boat bookings have started again. First tourists are likely to come to Croatia in the second week of June and the boat owners are coming as early as this weekend.

Due to the favourable epidemiological situation and the fact that being on a boat is a kind of isolation in itself, the interest for sailing in Croatia is growing. According to the information that we have been receiving daily, the communication between boat owners, marinas and charter companies in Croatia has intensified and we can expect first arrivals (boat owners and members of their household) as early as this weekend.

Last weekend when the easing of restrictions began, the boat bookings in Croatian charter companies restarted. The impression that the first nautical visits might start was supported by Gari Capelli, the Minister of Tourism who said a couple of days ago that sailing was practically possible in chartered boats as well. The borders have not been open for tourism just yet, so the arrival of charter guests will wait for the next phase of relaxation.

Our information say that the first chartered sailing and motor boats are likely to start from the second week of June onwards. As reported yesterday, the business procedure for charter companies suggested by The Charter Associations are waiting for approval from the Ministriy of Tourism, the Ministry of the Sea and the epidemilogists.
